Honda’s 2012 CR-V will be released soon. Maybe by the end of the next year, Honda will backfire this newly built upgraded vehicle to the market. However, meanwhile the company is planning to manufacture more eco-friendly electric vehicle under the brand name of Fit EV. At first this Fit EV will be available on lease in two major cities like California and Oregon. In addition East Coast automobile sectors will promote this car on lease as well most probably in 2013.
In a press note, the company’s secretary has told reporters that the company will do some experiments by releasing the first set of approximately 1100 Fit EVs to feel the likelihood of customers. Depending on the response from both consumers and experts, Honda will try to increase the number of cars for sale.
Fit EV car is equipped with a 20 kWh lithium ion type battery to power the vehicle. However there will be the provision for a 92KW capacitated coaxial electric motor collected from the FCX Clarity. Further technical specifications have been revealed from the chairperson’s desk. In a statement, the chairperson has made it clear that the car will have a 3-mode electric driving attachment which has been engineered in imitation of CR-Z Sport hybrid. There are three important modes like Econ, Sport and Normal. These modes are used to ensure acceleration or technical upgradation. A comparison study has confirmed the betterment of driving range system via Econ comparing to Normal. The percentage of driving range varies by 17% whereas the Sport drive mode puts emphasis on acceleration.
Honda management team is trying to increase the reputation of the production unit by manufacturing more environment friendly cars to assist consumers for getting benefits. Fit EV is rechargeable and it needs around 3 hours for charging the car. The vehicle is loaded with other features like automatic transmission, drive train package, carbon diffusers, exhaust system as well as other car tuning devices.
