2013 Mini Countryman John Cooper Works unveiled



John Cooper Works Countryman has been revealed by MINI before it was to make its debut at the Motor Show to be held in Geneva in March 2012. The model has an aggressive look which is featured with an aerodynamic kit, sports suspension which has been lowered and alloy wheels of 18 inch. It is also equipped with brakes of high performance, obligatory JCW badging and a sports exhaust system. Moving towards the interior, the cabin is equipped with sport seats, sport steering wheel and Chili Red or piano black coloured trim. Apart from this there is modified instrumentation and branded sill plates of JCW. Power in it comes from a 1.6 liter four cylinder engine which is turbocharged and delivers 218 PS and a peak torque of 280 Nm and 300 Nm with overboost. This is however, connected with ALL4 all wheel drive system which allows the new model to speed up from 0 to 100 km/hr in 7 seconds and also enables it to gain the top speed of 225 km/hr or 223 km/hr with its optional six speed automatic.So far as its efficiency is concerned, the owners can expect an average of 7.2 L/100 km and an emission of 167 g/km CO2. The figures degrade with the automatic to an amount of 8.0 l/100km and 187 g/km. Other details are still to be announced. For more details on this we have to have a patient wait and must have a keen eye on the upgraded news. The pricing information are still to be released. However, the JCW Countryman are to appear in the European dealership in 2013. So let us wait for a hearty welcome and be optimistic about its performance and looks are concerned.
