Jeep has brought the Cherokee name back for 2014 in the north American market with the introduction of its latest and stylish sports utility vehicle having a mid size body type. This model is going to make its debut at the International Auto Show that will be held in New York. This model is based on the motto, No Compromise. This brand new model has set forth the brilliant standard in the global market with excellent capability of driving, brilliant dynamics on the road and the fuel economy that amounts to a great 45% than all other SUV models of its category.
The engine that has been presented under the hood of the model is the 2.4 liter from Tigershark with a set up unit of four cylinders along with another V6 engine of 3.2 liters. Talks about another set of engine who run on petrol of 2 liter and 3 liter capacity especially for the market of Europe has also been going on. The fuel economy of the car has been increased a lot and it will prove to be tough competition for the other SUV models in the market. This model is going to be manufactured in the US at the Plant of Chrysler Group, the Toledo Assembly. It is located in Ohio. The model will be seen in the showrooms later this year.
